TDT TAKEOVER
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, NYC theatre company The Dare Tactic created Spark Grants to provide financial support to extraordinary emerging artists suffering from the impacts of the pandemic. The Picher Project was the featured grant recipient, which involved producing a virtual performance and other 'behind the scenes' content for an Instagram takeover. The grant allowed us to do a script reading via Zoom to get feedback and keep developing the show.

From 2014 to 2021, The Dare Tactic was a non-profit theatre company dedicated to staging innovative, original works featuring stories by underrepresented voices. The Dare Tactic focused on bridging the gap between academic studies and early-career opportunities by providing a platform for emerging artists to create, explore, fail, and experiment in a safe, supportive environment. Under fiscal sponsorship by Fractured Atlas, The Dare Tactic produced 12 Mainstage productions at venues including: The ShapeShifter Lab, St. Paul’s Theatre, The White Horse Tavern, Melville Gallery, WOW CAFE Theatre and more. The Dare Tactic has been nominated at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, appeared at Poetic License Festival, and collaborated with administration at Pace University.
